About Me

Melinda Smith, has a BA in Education and was one of the first 200 in the nation to become a Certified Professional Organizer. She has worked with companies and individuals for over 25 years consulting and conducting workshops across the MidWest and East Coast that included over 60 cities in 19 states with a focus on Strategic Thinking, Teambuilding, Organization, Balance Strategies, Stress Management, Embracing Change, and Women’s Retreats. Utilizing her degree from Hastings College, she’s owned Balance & Harmony 360², Inc since 2003 and started dba Balance Harmony Retreats in 2025.

Married to her high school sweetheart, road trips with their two young adult children, and babysitting her grand-fur babies are the highlights of her life. Melinda relishes rainy days on her porch, reading, dancing, driving their tractor Lucy, animals of every shape and size, and traveling to fun destinations.
